Campus Crossings is one of those student apartment complexes near the Trailwood/Lineberry intersection, though apparently not cool enough to be part of the cool apartments club. Instead, it’s located all by itself on Tryon Road, halfway between Trailwood Hills Drive and Lake Wheeler Road. It’s one of the furthest student apartment complexes from NC State (about a 10-minute drive away), but it does offer its own private shuttle.
Campus Crossing’s Amenities
Seriously, what doesn’t this place offer? You could practically come in with absolutely nothing and still have a decent place to stay. Here’s what they offer:
- pet-friendly apartments & dog park
- unassigned parking
- private shuttle to NC State
- swimming pool
- fitness room
- computer lab with printing
- basketball & sand volleyball courts
The unassigned parking is a big thing. There’s plenty of parking available at the 10-building complex, and you don’t have to fight for a guest spot (because there aren’t any!). You also don’t have to worry about your car getting towed should you want to come visit a friend. The party scene, however, is virtually nonexistent. The management office has strict guidelines enforcing parties: $100 deposit and no more than 18 people to an apartment (last we heard, anyway).
