NC State’s Newest Tradition: Winter Welcome Week

With over 50 official student traditions and many more unique and unofficial ones, NC State always has something to do besides studying and sleeping.

And now there’s another tradition to look forward to.

In celebration of the new year and a new semester, Winter Welcome Week will add another week’s (well, two weeks’) worth of fun to a fairly uneventful and even mundane routine of finding your classes, buying (or renting) your textbooks, and sitting through Syllabus Day more than once.

Winter Welcome Week Event Highlights

Like Wolfpack Welcome Week in August, Winter Welcome Week (Jan. 4th – 16th) is a way for new students to get connected to the Wolfpack family and a fun way for returning students to transition from winter break to the new spring semester.

You can find the whole schedule of events on the Winter Welcome Week guide or see a sample of what’s in store here.
